It means choosing the utmost respect for the environment thanks to plant-based materials produced in factories with certified processes.
Products that do not pollute, because they are obtained solely from mechanical processing without the addition of additives and adhesives.
Compared to the bioplastic materials often used for cutlery, SignorBIO products are truly biodegradable in nature without having to resort to degradation processes in waste treatment plants. If recycled in nature, they simply dissolve: plant fibres and wood returning to the soil.

The manufacturing process is extremely simple:
1. LEAFING of the tree trunk, a renewable resource
2. MECHANICAL PRESSING to cut and shape each product
3. WASHING to finish and sanitize each single piece
Sugar cane fibre
The material is obtained by macerating the residual fibres from the processing of sugar cane. As in the production of paper sheets, a shredded liquid pulp rich in cellulose fibres is created, which is then thermoformed in several molds.
